Edward J. Donovan Ed Donovan is the Director of Assessment and Program Development and Senior Consultant with KEYGroup®. He specializes in the design and delivery of employee satisfaction and workplace needs assessments. He also develops and implements appropriate consulting and training strategies that drive organizational change for increased growth and profitability. Ed’s focus areas include leadership development, communication styles and strategies, team-building, conflict resolution and customer relations. His clients include retail, health care, manufacturing, public sector and financial institutions. Ed’s unique knowledge and practice of adult education as well as his development and delivery of creative programs provide clients with customized design, innovative delivery options and measurable learning outcomes. He has been instrumental in developing and delivering innovative team-building programs for KEYGroup® clients including experiential outdoor learning, equine-assisted programs and multi-media problem-solving experiences. Ed’s clients include Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., Foremost Insurance, Dick’s Sporting Goods, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, Giant Eagle Corporation, UBS-AG, US Steel, GlaxoSmithKline and PPG Industries, Inc., to name a few. He has been described as “energetic, enlightening and extremely creative” in his approach and delivery to training and learning. Ed was formerly Director of Continuing Education at Penn State University in Pittsburgh. In addition to his work with KEYGroup®, he was responsible for the design and delivery of Penn State’s continuing professional education programs on a statewide level, where he currently provides consultation. He has been active in the American Society for Training and Development, the Human Resource Planning Society and the National University Continuing Education Association. He has received several local and national awards for innovative programs. Ed has also designed graduate courses in adult education for university delivery. Ed received his Master’s Degree in Adult Education from Penn State with an emphasis in Training and Development in Workforce Education. |
